Community Group Leadership Resources
As leaders in community, we want to use our God given gifts and learn how to better care for others.
Below you will find resources hand picked to help you grow personally and serve others better.
6 Recommended Books for Community Group Leaders
Prodigal God and Jesus+Nothing = Everything should be on any leader's reading list. They will not only help you understand the gospel, but will also help you articulate it to the people you are ministering to.
In these books, Paul Tripp and Tim Lane help explain how the gospel changes our relationships and how to help hurting people. As we seek to live in gospel-centered community, both books will become valuable tools to help others through the messiness of life.
This book helps describe in detail why community is important and also lists practical ways to live it out in real life.
Francis Chan and Mark Beuving have created a great resource for discipleship. Among its resources, Multiple features a great website called Multiply Movement where you can read online, download pdf versions of the book, listen to the book on audio, and watch a video presentation of each chapter in the book.
Free copies of these books are available for Community Group leaders at the Redeemer Office. Email Andy Fletcher for a copy: firstname.lastname@example.org.
