What is Partnership?

Partnership is Redeemer’s way of saying “This is where I want to live out my faith in unity with those who call this church home”.  Partnership is the formal process of becoming part of the church in a way that you’ll get to understand our Statement of Faith, the vision, values, privileges and responsibilities of those who call Redeemer home.  For a summary overview of Partnership, click here.

Becoming A Redeemer Partner

There are four steps to becoming a Redeemer Partner:

1. Be Baptized or Let us know you’ve been baptized.

Baptism is intended only for those who have professed faith in Jesus Christ. We baptize by immersion not only because it is the New Testament example, but also because it symbolizes the reality to which baptism points—our death and resurrection in Christ.

If you have not been baptized following your salvation, we ask you to take this step before becoming a Redeemer Partner.  Click here to sign up for the next baptism.

2. Attend the Classes

At least once a quarter we offer two partnership classes that cover what it means to be a Partner, as well as our mission, and core distinctives. We want you to know exactly what it means to be a Redeemer Partner.  Click on the dates below to see the details and RSVP for the upcoming classes.

3. Agree to the Partnership Agreement

The next step in becoming a Partner is to prayerfully consider agreeing to the Partnership agreement. The agreement is a one year commitment to the team and mission of Redeemer.  Each year Partners are encouraged to renew their partnership.  This renewal process gives them the opportunity to update their personal information, make needs known and give feedback.

4. Meet With An Elder

The final step in becoming a Partner is to meet with a Elder from Redeemer.  This is a chance to share your story, talk about the Partnership Agreement, and to ask any questions.

Once you fulfill the requirements of partnership, you will be welcomed and recognized as a Redeemer Partner.
